It warmed my heart to learn of the Cherokee. We spent the month of January last year on Snowbird creek and hiked up and down trails in Western NC.Their declaration is just amazing.. We were recently in WayneSeville and Canton NC.
I really appreciate how you are approaching this issue. Your methodical deconstruction of the accepted history is effective and informative. I have seen very little concerning the Native American aspect of the war. I don't think I've ever read the Cherokee declaration at all. I'm loving it and taking a lot of notes for more research.
